2020 PMYFCL Registration is OPEN!
Posted Jun 4, 2020

Hello Families,

We are writing to let you know that registration for our Pal-Mac Youth Football and Cheerleading 2020 season is now open! Registration details are enclosed on the attached flyer and all registration documents can be accessed on our website www.palmacyouth.com. Please note that all grade level breakdowns are for the grade your child is entering in the Fall of 2020.

It is likely that you may have many questions during this time of uncertainty. We will continue to make every effort to answer all questions you have and provide up to date information as it becomes available to PMYFCL. At this time, we are aware that our organization’s ability to operate will be in Phase 4 of our governor’s phased reopening plan. While that is the case, many
things have to be in place to ensure we can provide a safe and operational season, and our Board of Directors is making every effort to do that while we remain in the “off season”.

Over the next coming months, there will be many factors that will affect our decision to cancel our season or move forward. Our first factor that we must consider is participation. At this time, there are not enough participants registered to continue our season. Without a minimum number of participants, regardless of the state of Phase 4 opening or the requirements in place, we cannot operate a league. Noted in our flyer, mail-in registration is open until June 26th. We are requesting that you complete your registration paperwork and mail it in ASAP. If you have any barriers to printing the documents, please send an email to palmacyouth@gmail.com and we will provide them to you.

Note that you can send your paperwork now and submit payment at a later date TBD per the flyer. If you choose to send payment now, please be aware that NO CHECKS will be cashed until after registration is complete. At the time we are ready to cash checks, you will be notified via email.

We are making every effort to prepare for our football and cheer season. Now we need YOU, as our football and cheer families, to help us start out successfully. It is possible that we receive the “go-ahead” from our guiding organizations much later than we expect and we want to be 100% ready to begin our season. As such, registration will end promptly on June 26th and no late registrations will be accepted after.

Please continue to be patient as we all navigate this uncharted territory. Do not hesitate in any way to send us a message or email us at palmacyouth@gmail.com should you have any questions. We will do our best to answer what we can and acknowledge if it’s a question we are awaiting guidance on. We appreciate your support and look forward to seing all of our families soon!

Thank you!
Pal-Mac Youth Football and Cheerleading, Board of Directors

2020 Can Drive - WIN A FREE REGISTRATION!

2020 is here and as we begin to prepare for our 2020 football and cheer season, we have some exciting news to share with you. Our bottle and can drives in 2018 and 2019 were such a great success that we plan to continue this into next year with a challenge for your athletes.

Challenge: Collect and bring the most bottles/cans to Can Kings in Palmyra!

Reward: The football player AND cheerleader who collect and redeem the most bottles and cans from now until 2020 registration deadline day (June 26, 2020) will EACH win a free registration for the 2020 season!

*Note that the football players vs. cheerleaders challenge is also still in effect!

How it works:

- Collect bottles and cans and bring to Can Kings (505 West Main Street, Palmyra - Hours are Monday through Saturday 9am-7pm).

- Tell them whether you would like the can count to go towards Pal-Mac Youth Football OR Pal-Mac Youth Cheer.

- Ask for a receipt every time you turn in and save all your receipts! Can Kings keeps the money and you have a count on your receipts to keep track of what you have redeemed.

- You will turn in all receipts enclosed in an envelope with your child's name on PMYFCL registration due date (June 26th).

- We will tally up the total collection amounts and determine the football player and cheerleader who have redeemed the most bottles and cans.

- Winners will receive free registrations for the 2020 season and will be refunded their registration costs!

**Any athlete is eligible to participate regardless if they have been a member of the program in the past. New athletes are welcome so feel free to pass along the information.

We are very excited as we head into next season!
